– 1.25 MWp installation to accelerate energy platform expansion in Southeast Asia –
NURIFLEX, a leading smart energy solutions provider (CEO Jeong-Hoon Han,
www.nuriflex.co.kr), announced that its Vietnam subsidiary has signed an
agreement with global footwear manufacturer Changshin to launch a rooftop solar
pilot project.
The project involves installing and managing a 1.25 MWp rooftop solar
system at one of Changshin’s facilities in Dong Nai, Vietnam. Following the
pilot, both companies plan to scale the installation to a total capacity of 30
MWp across all of Changshin’s Vietnam factories.
As Changshin is a key supplier to leading global sports brands, NURIFLEX expects this partnership to significantly strengthen its footprint in
Vietnam’s industrial energy market. Since its establishment in 2017, NURIFLEX Vietnam has focused on rooftop
solar operations and maintenance (O&M). The company currently manages solar
facilities across 45 factories in Vietnam, with a combined capacity of 100 MWp.
NURIFLEX provides specialized industrial energy management services by
integrating data collection, forecasting, and analytics. Powered by its
proprietary smart grid software, the company offers data-driven maintenance and
operational optimization for power generation facilities.
Moving forward, NURIFLEX Vietnam aims to expand the adoption of Factory
Energy Management Systems (FEMS) across Vietnamese industrial zones. The
company also plans to leverage accumulated energy data to transition into a
Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform business.
CEO Jeong-Hoon Han stated: “This collaboration with Changshin is a milestone
in applying an energy platform model that integrates energy efficiency with
operational data within a global manufacturing environment. We remain committed
to expanding our industrial energy management and distributed energy platform
businesses across Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asian market.”
