NuriFlex(www.nuriflex.co.kr),
a smart energy solutions leading company, announced that it has signed a
contract with EDG-SA(Électricité de Guinée), the national power utility of the
Republic of Guinea, for the deployment of a online prepaid AMI (Advanced
Metering Infrastructure) system in West Africa.
This project will be implemented in
Conakry, the capital of Guinea, and surrounding areas. NuriFlex will carry out
the supply, deployment, and operation of prepaid smart electricity meters and
related systems over a total period of six years.
Guinea has continuously raised the need to
enhance the efficiency of its power infrastructure amid growing electricity
demand. With the introduction of the online prepaid AMI system, improvements in
both power supply stability and the electricity tariff collection system are
expected.
Through this project, NuriFlex plans to
contribute to improving EDG’s electricity tariff
collection structure and establishing a smart prepaid advanced metering
infrastructure to support stable power supply. With this project, EDG-SA is
expected to strengthen the stability of electricity tariff recovery and build a
business model linked to the operational performance of the smart online
prepaid AMI system. |
